Fongrave ( Occitan : Fontgrava ) is a French city with a population of 625 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Villeneuve-sur-Lot and is part of the canton of Le Livradais (until 2015: canton of Monclar ). The inhabitants are called Fongravais .

geography

Fongrave is located about 22 kilometers north-northwest of Agen am Lot , which borders the municipality in the south. Fongrave is surrounded by the neighboring communities Monclar in the north, Saint-Étienne-de-Fougères in the east, Le Temple-sur-Lot in the south and south-west and Castelmoron-sur-Lot in the west.
