Trentels is a French municipality with 872 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (2016: Aquitaine ). Trentels belongs to the arrondissement of Villeneuve-sur-Lot and the canton of Le Fumélois (until 2015: canton of Penne-d'Agenais ). The inhabitants are called Trentellois .
geography
Trentels is about 14 kilometers east-northeast of Villeneuve-sur-Lot on the Lot . Trentels is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Aubin and Monségur in the north, Condezaygues and Saint-Vite in the northeast, Saint-Georges in the east, Trémons in the south, Penne-d'Agenais in the southwest, and Saint-Sylvestre-sur-Lot in the west as well Villeneuve-sur-Lot in the north-west.
