Beaugas is a municipality with 359 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in France in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the arrondissement of Villeneuve-sur-Lot and the canton of Le Haut Agenais Périgord (until 2015: canton of Cancon ). The inhabitants are called Beaugassia .

geography

Beaugas is about 14 kilometers north-north-west of Villeneuve-sur-Lot . Beaugas is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Moulinet and Cancon in the north, Boudy-de-Beauregard in the northeast, Castelnaud-de-Gratecambe in the east, Pailloles in the south and southeast, Saint-Pastour in the south, Pinel-Hauterive and Montastruc in the southwest and Monbahus in the West and northwest.

The National Route 21 runs through the municipality .
