Sembas is a French municipality with 141 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the arrondissement of Villeneuve-sur-Lot and the canton of Le Confluent (until 2015: canton of Villeneuve-sur-Lot-Sud ).

Sembas is located about ten kilometers south-southwest of Villeneuve-sur-Lot . Sembas is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sainte-Colombe-de-Villeneuve in the north, Castella in the south and east, Laugnac in the south-west, Cours in the west and Dolmayrac in the north-west.
