Sterzing city archive
The Sterzing City Archives in Sterzing was founded in 1860 and contains documents from 1298 to the 20th century as well as manuscripts from the game director Vigil Raber from the beginning of the 16th century. The stocks have a circumference of 159 running meters. There is no independent archive administration, use can be agreed with the City Office for General Affairs, which is mainly responsible for commercial licenses.
The well-known pieces among the “game manuscripts” include the Sterzinger Miszellaneen manuscript and the Debs Codex .
