Yorik is a Franco-Belgian comic strip drawn in a realistic style by Eddy Paape .

The adventures of the privateer Yorik first appeared in 1971 in the Belgian and French editions of Tintin and in the Dutch version Kuifje . André-Paul Duchâteau staged the title hero chapter by chapter. Pocket-sized short stories and an illustrated short novel in Tintin Sélection were also published . Lombard began publishing albums in the Jeune Europe series in 1975 . In 1980 Jonas summarized the short stories in an album. Lombard published a complete edition in 1982 as part of the Phylactère series .

The German first edition came from Koralle and took place in 1974 in Zack Parade . In 1988 ComicArt brought out the complete edition in the series The Great Adventure Comics .
