Dave Whitcombe (born June 27, 1954 in Chatham ) is a retired English darts player .

His greatest successes were winning the Winmau World Masters in 1982 and 1985, as well as taking part in the final twice in the BDO World Championship against Eric Bristow , which he lost in 1984 with 7-1 and 1986 with 6-0. In 1989 he won the News of the World Darts Championship .
