The Route nationale 65 A , or N 65 A or RN 65 A for short , was a French national road that was established between Bonny-sur-Loire and Beaulieu-sur-Loire in 1897. Their length was three kilometers. It led over the Bonny-sur-Loire bridge , which was built between 1899 and 1902 and rebuilt as a suspension bridge between 1947 and 1951. In 1933 it became part of the new N 726, which was phased out in 1973. The bridge is 361 meters long and the span between the individual pylons is 120 meters. From 1933 two more N 65 A were set up as side branches of the N 65. Their description can be found in the article of N 65 .
