The N19bis was a French national road that was established in 1930 as a branch of the N19 between Belfort and the Swiss border near Delle. From 1933 the name N19 B appeared as an alternative name for this street. In 1978 it was taken over by the N19 and has been phased out since 2006, as the N1019 is being built at the same time and will later become part of the N19. In Switzerland, the main road 6 connects to Gletsch.
