The Route nationale 16 (N16) runs for 13.1 km between Aspelt and Remich . It crosses the A13 twice on its short course .

The first section via Altwies (connection to the A13) to Bad Mondorf follows the Luxembourg-French border. A section of just a few meters, the N16A, connects Mondorff in France with Bad Mondorf in Luxembourg (from the border to the confluence with the N16).

At the exit of Bad Mondorf, the N16 changes direction and crosses the A13 a second time, then leads via Ellange (district of Gare) over the Scheuerberg to Remich. There the N16 crosses a roundabout and joins the N2 after a few meters at the "gas station mile" Place Nico Klopp .
