The car Route 4 , just A4 , also under Escher Autobunn known links the capital Luxembourg with Esch-sur-Alzette . Its total length is 15.4 km.

In the Grand Duchy, the development of motorway projects began in the late 1960s. The first section was opened in 1969 between Pontpierre and Lallingen .

The 6 individual sections of the A4 were opened to traffic by 1992.

B4

The Voie express 4 , B4 for short, is a 1 km long expressway. It begins in the Luxembourg district of Hollerich and merges with the A4 motorway at the Merl roundabout.
