Haus Augustinern 70 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the northern part of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register.

Architecture and history

The three-storey half - timbered house was built according to an inscription in 1712, according to other information in 1732 or 1737. The inscription bears the letters MGGZ as a master monogram , it is assumed that this is Gabriel Goldfuß junior. The threshold of the first floor is decorated with pyramid beam heads. The second floor is probably of later origin. A profile plank was used as a decorative element. In addition, the compartments were provided with decorative brickwork.
