Gasthof Goldener Anker
The “Goldener Anker” inn is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt . Currently (as of 2012) the house is empty.

It is located at Augustinern 14 in the northern part of the historic Quedlinburg Neustadt and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as an inn in the Quedlinburg monument register. The Augustinern 15 building , which is also listed, is adjacent to the east .
Architecture and history
The two-storey property consists of two combined half-timbered houses . The western part of the house was built around 1680. The half-timbered structure here has a row of stands and struts. Before dating from the Baroque originating Stock threshold is a later being interposed Bohlen board.
In the eastern part of the building, which was built around 1800, there is a mezzanine floor . The facade is kept simple.
