The house Augustinern 87a is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the northern part of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. To the east, the Augustinern 87 building , which is also listed, is adjacent.

Architecture and history

In the 14th and 15th centuries, part of the Augustinian monastery stood here , as well as on the adjacent area.

The single - storey half-timbered house was built in the second half of the 19th century in the style of late classicism . It rests on a high sandstone base and has a knee stick . A large dwelling is characteristic of the simply designed building .
