The Augustinern 18 house is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the northern part of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. The Augustinern 19 building , which is also listed, is adjacent to the east .

Architecture and history

The core of the half-timbered house was built in the middle of the 17th century. The motif of the dew stick on the threshold and the wide ankles in the basement date from this time . In the 18th century the building was rebuilt and extended. The ornamental walling of the compartments and the profiled parapet plank were created. The shutters come from the middle, the front door from the end of the 19th century.
