Le Mesnil-Esnard is a French commune in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Rouen , in the canton of Le Mesnil-Esnard . The total population as of January 1, 2017 was 7967 inhabitants, who are called Mesnillais (es) .
geography
Le Mesnil-Esnard is located near the Seine , about five kilometers southeast of Rouen . The commune is bordered by Bonsecours and Saint-Léger-du-Bourg-Denis in the north, Saint-Aubin-Épinay and Franqueville-Saint-Pierre in the east, Belbeuf in the south and Amfreville-la-Mi-Voie in the west.
The former Route nationale 14 runs through the municipality .
