Cottévrard is located about 23 kilometers north-northeast of Rouen in the Pays de Bray and about 33 kilometers south-southeast of Dieppe . Cottévrard is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Beaumont-le-Hareng in the north, Saint-Saëns in the northeast, Bosc-Bérenger in the east, Critot in the southeast, Esteville in the south, Bosc-le-Hard in the west and southwest, and Grigneuseville in the west and northwest.
