Duclair is a French municipality with 4198 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rouen in the canton of Barentin . The inhabitants are called Duclairois (es) .
geography
Duclair is located on the Seine , around 20 kilometers west-northwest of Rouen in the Boucles de la Seine Normande Regional Nature Park . Here the Austreberthe flows into the Seine. Duclair is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Paër in the north, Saint-Pierre-de-Varengeville in the east, Berville-sur-Seine in the southeast, Anneville-Ambourville in the south, Yainville in the southwest, Le Trait in the west and Sainte-Marguerite-sur -Duclair to the northwest. The former Route nationale 182 runs through the municipality .
