Le Petit-Quevilly is a French city with 21,995 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It is the capital of the canton of the same name , and is located on the left bank of the Seine , on the southwestern city limits of Rouen , with which it has completely merged within the Métropole Rouen Normandy .

Attractions

The village, founded in the 10th century, houses the Saint-Julien chapel (1150) and the Parc du Rouvray .

economy

There has been an industrial development in the city since the 19th century. The La Foudre spinning mill existed from 1809 to 2001. Another major employer was the Lozai shipyard.
