Bretteville-Saint-Laurent is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Brametot in the north, Tocqueville-en-Caux in the northeast, Sassetot-le-Malgardé and Gonnetot in the east, Saint-Laurent-en-Caux in the southeast, Reuville in the south, Bénesville in the southwest as well Canville-les-Deux-Églises to the west.
