Claville-Motteville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bosc-le-Hard in the north, Esteville in the east and northeast, Saint-Germain-sous-Cailly in the east and southeast, Saint-André-sur-Cailly in the southeast, Saint-Georges-sur- Fontaine in the south, Fontaine-le-Bourg in the west and southwest and Authieux-Ratiéville in the west.
