Buchy is a French commune with 2,757 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rouen and the canton of Le Mesnil-Esnard (until 2015: canton Buchy ). The inhabitants are called Bucheois .

On January 1, 2017, the municipalities of Bosc-Roger-sur-Buchy and Estouteville-Écalles were incorporated into Buchy.

geography

Buchy is about 25 kilometers northeast of Rouen . Buchy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montérolier in the north, Bosc-Roger-sur-Buchy in the north, south and east, Sainte-Croix-sur-Buchy in the south and Estouteville-Écalles in the west. The former route nationale 319 (today's D919) runs through the municipality .
