Bois-Héroult is a commune of 200 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Seine-Maritime department in the region Normandy (before 2016: Haute-Normandie ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Rouen and the canton of Le Mesnil-Esnard (until 2015: canton Buchy ). The inhabitants are called Bois-Héroultais .

Bois-Héroult is located about 25 kilometers northeast of Rouen . Bois-Héroult is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bosc-Bordel in the north, Mauquenchy in the northeast, Bosc-Édeline in the east, Sigy-en-Bray in the southeast, Bois-Guilbert in the south, Héronchelles in the southwest and Buchy in the west and northwest.
