Yainville is a French commune with 1,050 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Rouen and the Canton of Barentin (until 2015: Canton Duclair ). The inhabitants are called Yainvillais .
geography
Yainville is about 15 kilometers west of Rouen on the Seine . Yainville is part of the Boucles de la Seine Normande Regional Nature Park . Yainville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Trait in the north, Duclair in the northeast, Jumièges in the south and east and Heurteauville in the west.
