It belongs to the arrondissement of Rouen and the canton of Le Mesnil-Esnard (until 2015: canton Darnétal ). The inhabitants are called Servavillais .

Servaville-Salmonville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Blainville-Crevon in the north and north-east, Grainville-sur-Ry in the east, Martainville-Épreville in the south and south-east, Bois-l'Évêque in the south and south-west, Préaux in the west and south-west and La Vieux -Rue to the west and northwest.
