Ymare is a French commune with 1,154 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Rouen , is part of the canton Darnétal (until 2015: canton Boos ). The inhabitants are called Ymarois .
geography
Ymare is about eleven kilometers south-southeast of Rouen . Ymare is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Aubin-Celloville in the north and north-west, Quévreville-la-Poterie in the east, Alizay in the south, Igoville in the south and south-west, Les Authieux-sur-le-Port-Saint-Ouen in the west and south-west as well as Gouy to the west and northwest.
