Villers-Écalles is a French town with 1,768 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Rouen and the Canton of Barentin (until 2015: Canton Pavilly ).

Villers-Écalles is 16 kilometers northwest of Rouen on the Austreberthe River . Villers-Écalles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bouville in the north and north-west, Barentin in the east and north-east, Saint-Pierre-de-Varengeville in the south and Saint-Paër in the west.
The A150 autoroute leads through the municipality .
history
In 1831 the previously independent communities Villers-Chambellan and Écalles-sur-Villers were merged under the current name.
