Saint-Martin de l'If is a French commune with 1,699 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Rouen and the canton of Notre-Dame-de-Bondeville .

The municipality was created as Commune nouvelle as part of a territorial reform on January 1, 2016 through the merger of the four former municipalities of Fréville , Betteville , La Folletière and Mont-de-l'If , which are now districts of Saint-Martin-de-l'If represent. Fréville acts as the "superordinate district" as the administrative center.
