Critot is a French municipality with 465 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Dieppe and the canton Neufchâtel-en-Bray (until 2015 Saint-Saëns ).

Critot is about 25 kilometers northeast of Rouen . Critot is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bosc-Bérenger in the north, Saint-Martin-Osmonville in the north-east, Rocquemont in the east, Yquebeuf in the south and south-east, Cailly in the south and south-west, Esteville in the west and south-west and Cottévrard in the north-west.

The A28 car route runs along the eastern edge of the municipality .
