It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dieppe and the canton of Luneray (until 2015 canton of Tôtes ). The inhabitants are called Imblevillais .

Imbleville is located about 42 kilometers north-northeast of Rouen in the Pays de Bray . Imbleville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Val-de-Saâne in the north and east, La Fontelaye in the south, Vibeuf in the south-west, Lidebeuf in the west and Le Torp-Mesnil in the west and north-west.
