Val-de-Saâne is located on the Saâne in the Pays de Caux about 40 kilometers north-northwest of Rouen . Val-de-Saâne is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Auzouville-sur-Saâne in the north and northwest, Saint-Pierre-Bénouville in the north, Beauval-en-Caux in the northeast, Calleville-les-Deux-Église and Belleville-en-Caux in the East, Saint-Vaast-du-Val to the east and south-east, Bertrimont to the south-east, Ancretiéville-Saint-Victor to the south, Bourdainville to the south-west, La Fontelaye to the west and south-west, Imbleville to the west and Le Mesnil-Torp to the north-west.

In 1964, the community was formed from the previously independent communities of Anglesqueville-sur-Saâne , Eurville , Thièdeville and Varvannes .
