Saint-Hellier is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Muchedent in the north, Les Grandes-Ventes in the northeast, bellencombre in the east and southeast, Sévis in the south, Cressy in the west and southwest, Cropus in the west and Le Catelier in the northwest.
