Longueil is a French municipality with 561 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Dieppe and is part of the canton Dieppe-1 ( Offranville until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Longueillais .

geography

Longueil is about ten kilometers west-southwest of Dieppe near the alabaster coast of the English Channel . The Saâne flows through the municipality . Longueil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Quiberville in the north and north-west, Sainte-Marguerite-sur-Mer in the north, Varengeville-sur-Mer in the east and north-east, Ouville-la-Rivière in the south and south-east, and Saint-Denis-d'Aclon in the South and Le Bourg-Dun to the west.
