It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dieppe and the canton of Luneray ( canton Longueville-sur-Scie until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Dénestanvillois .

Dénestanville is located about 19 kilometers south of Dieppe in the Pays de Caux . Dénestanville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Crosville-sur-Scie in the north, La Chaussée in the east and north-east, Longueville-sur-Scie in the south and Lintot-les-Bois in the west and south-west.
