La Fontelaye is a French commune with a population of 31 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dieppe and the canton of Luneray (until 2015 canton of Tôtes ). The inhabitants are called Fontelaysiens .

La Fontelaye is located about 39 kilometers north-northwest of Rouen in the Pays de Bray am Saâne . La Fontelaye is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Imbleville in the north, Val-de-Saâne in the east and northeast, Bourdainville in the south and Vibeuf in the west.
