Veules-les-Roses is a French commune in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It has 605 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) and is located a few km east of Saint-Valery-en-Caux on the Alabaster Coast in the Dieppe arrondissement .

The place is located in an indentation on the Norman cliffs. Here the Veules River flows into the English Channel . With a length of 1149 m, the Veules is the shortest river in France.
