Val-de-Scie is a French commune with 2,555 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement Dieppe and the cantons of Luneray and Neufchâtel-en-Bray .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities Auffay , Cressy and Sévis , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Auffay.

geography
The municipality is located 30 kilometers north of Rouen in the Pays de Caux countryside . The motorway-like N27 national road runs along the western border of the municipality . The municipality is affected by the Scie and Varenne rivers . Neighboring municipalities are: Cropus in the north, Saint-Hellier in the northeast, Bellencombre in the east, La Crique in the southeast, Montreuil-en-Caux in the south, Saint-Denis-sur-Scie in the southwest, Biville-la-Baignarde in the west and Heugleville- sur-Scie in the north-west.
