Luneray is a French commune with 2,211 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement Dieppe and the canton Luneray (until 2015: canton Bacqueville-en-Caux ). The inhabitants are called Luneraysia .
geography
Luneray is about eight kilometers south of the English Channel coast and about 15 kilometers southwest of Dieppe . Luneray is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Avremesnil in the north, Gueures in the northeast, Brachy in the east, Greuville in the south, Crasville-la-Rocquefort in the southwest, Gruchet-Saint-Siméon in the west and La Gaillarde in the northwest.
