history
Baromesnil Airfield
During the Second World War there was a field airfield near Baromesnil in the direction of Godelmesnil . The Bf 109E of the III. Group of Jagdgeschwader 3 of the Luftwaffe used it for a few days over the month of June / July 1940. After the liberation of the area by the Allies, Airfield B.35 , as its Allied code designation, was then again in September 1944 by three squadrons (164th, 183. and 609.) Typhoon IB and a squadron (222.) Spitfire IX used by the British Royal Air Force .

Baromesnil is a forest and agricultural village in the Yères Valley in the Pays de Caux and is located 24 kilometers east of Dieppe at the intersection of the D 258 and D 78 departmental roads.
