Gaillefontaine is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Beaussault in the north and northeast, Conteville in the north, Haucourt in the east, Saint-Michel-d'Halescourt in the south and southeast, Pommereux in the south, Longmesnil and Le Fossé in the southwest, Le Thil-Riberpré in the west and Southwest and Compainville to the west.
