Ancourt is a French municipality with 653 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement Dieppe and the canton Dieppe-2 (until 2015: canton Dieppe-Est ). The inhabitants are called Ancourtais .
geography
Ancourt is located about five kilometers south of the Alabaster Coast to the English Channel and about seven kilometers southeast of Dieppe on the River Eaulne . Ancourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Petit-Caux in the north, Sauchay and Bellengreville in the east, Saint-Nicolas-d'Aliermont in the southeast, Arques-la-Bataille in the south and Martin-Église in the west.
