It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dieppe and the canton of Luneray (until 2015 canton of Tôtes ). The inhabitants are called Bénouvillais .

Saint-Pierre-Bénouville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lestanville and Saint-Ouen-le-Mauger in the north, Saint-Mards in the northeast, Beauval-en-Caux in the east and southeast, Val-de-Saâne in the south, Imbleville in the southwest as well Auzouville-sur-Saâne to the west and north-west.
