Blangy-sur-Bresle is a French commune with 2,972 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dieppe and the canton of Eu . The inhabitants are called Blangeois .
geography
Blangy-sur-Bresle is located on the Bresle River and on the Forêt d'Eu on the border with the Somme department . Blangy-sur-Bresle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bouttencourt in the north, Neslette in the east, Nesle-Normandeuse in the south-east, Pierrecourt in the south, Saint-Riquier-en-Rivière in the south-west, Rieux in the west and Monchaux-Soreng in the north-west. The A28 autoroute and the former Route nationale 28 (today's D928) run through the municipality .
history
In 1940 the community suffered considerable devastation from a bombardment. In particular, the church was destroyed.
