Fesques is a French municipality with 119 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement Dieppe and the canton of Neufchâtel-en-Bray and is part of the Bray-Eawy municipal association . Until its dissolution on December 31, 2016, Ménonval belonged to the municipal association Pays Neufchâtelois .

geography

Fesques is a farming village on the banks of the Eaulne in the Pays de Bray natural area . It is 34 kilometers southeast of Dieppe . The A 28 autoroute runs through the municipality.

etymology

Fesques is derived from the Latin fiscus in the sense of a " state treasure ", but developed over time as a term for a royal property and later a church property.

history
