It has 273 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) and belongs to the canton of Saint-Valery-en-Caux ( Cany-Barville until 2015 ) and the Arrondissement of Dieppe . The inhabitants are called Sassevillais .

Sasseville is about 45 kilometers east-southeast of Dieppe and about eleven kilometers south of the Alabaster Coast . Sasseville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ocqueville in the north, Drosay in the east, Saint-Vaast-Dieppedalle in the southeast, Bosville in the south and Cany-Barville in the west.
