Muchedent is a French municipality with 131 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dieppe and the canton of Luneray ( canton Longueville-sur-Scie until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Muchedentais .

Muchedent is located in the Pays de Caux about 29 kilometers south-southeast of Dieppe on the Varenne .

Neighboring municipalities of Muchedent are Torcy-le-Grand in the north, Les Grandes-Ventes in the east, Saint-Hellier in the south, Le Catelier in the west and south-west, Les Cent-Acres in the west and Saint-Honoré in the north-west.
