history

The Circuit de Dieppe , a racing track, was operated by the Automobile Club de France . The route passed through Sept-Meules. In the second of three events on July 7, 1908, the French racing driver Henri Cissac had a fatal racing accident in Sept-Meules, the race was won by the German Christian Friedrich Lautenschlager .
