Jarnac is a French commune in the Charente department with 4403 inhabitants (January 1, 2017) on an area of 1199 hectares. Jarnac is located on the banks of the Charente River , which is used in this area for water tourism by pleasure boats and houseboats . Here is a charter base for houseboats.
