Javrezac is a French commune with 583 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Charente department . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Cognac and the canton of Cognac-2 (until 2015: canton of Cognac-Sud ). The inhabitants call themselves Javrezacais .
geography
Javrezac is about two kilometers northwest of the city center of Cognac . The river Antenne crosses the municipality. The neighboring communities of Javrezac are Cherves-Richemont in the north, Cognac in the south and east and Saint-Laurent-de-Cognac in the west.
