Bréville is a municipality in southwestern France with 466 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Charente department in the south of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Cognac and the canton of Cognac-1 (until 2015: canton of Cognac-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Brévillois .

location

Bréville is about ten kilometers north-northeast of the city center of Cognac on the Soloire . Bréville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sonnac in the north, Brie-sous-Matha in the north and northeast, Ballans in the east, Sainte-Sévère in the south and southeast, Cherves-Richemont in the southwest and Mons in the west and northwest.
